Step 2: Check List!

Every good acne prone skin care routine consists of several key components. Now it’s time to make sure the routine you developed with the routine building worksheet include those components.

003_022What to do:  First, we’ll list the key components (Part 1), then we’ll go over which products in the Batty’s Bath product line up fit the bill of each component (Part 2). Remember, you just need to have one product in each component to check it off your list.

PART 1: The Check List of Key Components:

This is your check list for building an acne soothing routine! Be sure components 1 – 6 are covered in your routine (remember, one product may cover more than one component).

  1. Hydration
  2. Moisture
  3. Killing Bacteria
  4. Cleanser
  5. Fighting Congestion (via exfoliation + hydration)
  6. Target + Heal Current Breakouts (calm inflammation + boost / support healing)

PART 2: Matching the Check List with the Batty’s Bath Products that are best for acne prone skin care routines

Grab the routine you came up with from the guided routine builder (in step 1) and make sure your routine has at least ONE product from each category (below) worked into it. If it doesn’t, now is the time to do a bit of tweaking. Suggestions of how frequently to use the products you picked is also listed below.

TIPS:

  • Many customers find better results when they have each component covered with a couple products, but don’t feel that you need to do this too. The best place to start is with a simple routine that has as few products as possible. After a bit of time, you’ll know how your skin is responding and whether or not you need to add more products to your routine.
